Nandos has good food (I mean the peri peri chicken
) but a bit pricey. We went the other day with family (my little niece had birthday party). The Nando’s service is average but flamed grilled chicken is fresh. We went to waterfront in Melbourne. In fact we went to the “super expensive restaurant” [moderator removed the name] and the food was terrible. The starter put us off. Angry, we left the restaurant and we decided to go to Nandos. Nandos chicken, coleslaw and mayo dishes were very good. Service was average. In general we liked it. There is a good review of Nandos http://www.website-marketing-australia.com/boycottnandos.php
Nandos does not deserve good reviews. Who wrote this: http://www.smartstrings.com/nandosreview.php. How can you support Nando’s sex-related adverts? I added my comment there so you can read it.
Martina, Nandos may not be the good advertisers but Nandos do offer the best fast food chicken alternative. Nando’s have the best flamed chicken, grilled chicken, the best fresh fast food. I do not see anything wrong with peri peri chicken (even though their adverts are lousy). Some Nandos adverts are offensive but their campaign http://www.portugasm.com/ is interesting.
As for Nandos I agree with Martina about the adverts. But Nandos and Nando’s chicken is a great food. I wrote my experiences with Nandos in my myspace blog:

I went with my friends to Nandos in Melbourne. No plastics, no warming up no artificial nonsense – just fresh food. Price was $30 bucks for 3 people. Ok, I would prefer a better deal. However, other fast food outlets charge the same. Maybe Mcdonalds is a bit cheaper (but – this is not really going out). I just love the new Nando’s Portugasm statement it is so funny, people just can’t seem to be happy and enjoy a good laugh… i feel sorry for them, they should stick to the enlightenment and rejuvenating steps to achieve portugasm…:) . Their food is way better then grilled. I take my kids to Nanod’s once a week and they love it. Thank you Nando’s
At the end of the day Nando’s chicken tastes great – you cant beat the peri peri flavour. The ads are funny to. Love Nando’s and love the chicken suit at the footy – completely random.
I would just like to say Thank you to all the people who wrote on this site, after just coming from a website that badmouthed every thing about,Nando’s including me as I work there. It’s good to know that there are some people out there who appreciate good chicken and also that at least one other person out there agrees with me that people who don’t like the ad’s obviously can’t be happy and enjoy a good laugh.
